I work as a tour guide, and I am also a licensed nurse and midwife.

A quiet raked garden

You live with a long-term condition, or tire more easily than you used to
You use a wheelchair, or find stairs and long distances difficult
You are travelling with a baby or a toddler
Someone with you has a disability
You simply feel uneasy so far from home

What that means on the day

The route is planned backwards from what you can comfortably manage
I know where the lifts, the accessible toilets, the benches and the shade are
I speak to staff, pharmacies and clinics on your behalf, in Japanese
Nothing in the plan is compulsory

What I cannot do — please read this

I am with you as your guide and interpreter, not as your healthcare provider.

Going with you to a clinic or hospital

If you fall ill or are injured during your stay, I can go with you.
